    That's the way... 5 points

Congratulations to The Force and Supporters on a brilliant victory over the Reds.

The floodgates are open now and I hope there are many more 5 pointers to come!

The excitement from the crowd especially at last weeks Hurricanes game made Subiaco the place the rugby world wants to be at the moment....

    Brilliant!

great to get bonus point - thought sharpie might have blown it when he took the shot at goal after the pentaly right in front!

How sweet it is!!!!! Not just to truly bury our opposition, not just to get a bonus point.... but to do all that against the Reds

    Sweet

And I second Thequeerone - what on earth was going on in the scrum?

    Congrats, two in a row.

    Ecstatic, but.......

Given that the Reds were down to 14 players for most of the night, was hoping the Force would have gone futher ahead earlier in the second half....but, take the points any way you can.

But what really intrigues me, is that last week, 27-thousand people.

This week, coming off the first at home win, and going in as red hot favourites, only 26-thousand people.

Where are the 30+ thousand crowds from last year???

Are they all fed up with the venue????

    Yes it was awesome...

Give it time in regards to the crowds.

The Force are being given a shit of a time in the print media and on the news, apparently pre-season AFL is much more important then a team that is in the top 4 in the best Super 14 competition in the world.

Expectation is a little high, we have great crowds we have great play and if you asked us a few years ago that our team would be 2nd on the ladder half way through the season, and having an average of 27,000 then you would be laughing.

What it does show is that our supporters are loyal and that we have not got a whole lot of bandwagoners on our back, because despite us winning it is the diehards they are rewarding.

Kudos to the crowd it was incredible with how blue it was tonight and it seems to be getting bluer by the week!

Great game the atmosphere was absolutely awesome. Goes to show we aren't only the Giteau show.

Oh when Queensland was collapsing the scrum was it a ploy to upset the Force's attacking drives???

You seem to forget the Force lost from in front many times last year. I think it was very wise to seal the game for 4 points before worrying about the bonus point!

A big poo-poo to those few that boo'd the decision to take the penalty!

My first reaction as I was commentating was I wanted the Force to be more expansive earlier in the second half.

On reflection there were so many positives about the performance I think I was being greedy.

First, last season they let numerous leads slip, and in this game there was never any doubt about the result.

Second, despite leaving the flourish for the final 5 minutes they still secured the bonus point... I know they left it late, but you can't argue that 38 points to 3, while largely untroubled, having dominated the game has to be a marvelous outcome.

The other thing that interests me is how quickly the expectation rate increases. From waiting for a first home win, having only won one match last season we now expect the team to win and win well. Isn't it fantastic that we have those ambitions, and the team is doing its best to fulfill them for us.

I agree with you coach. Take the points on offer and make it a 4 try game.

    GO FORCE!

Few? It seemed pretty loud. Agreed it's wise to get the 4 points before you try for 5.
