The real joke is that some people thought this was a great idea?

Well maybe TWF should enter a team into this "Super" competition - Burgs you could be the media manager - I'll let you guess why?

    Coach could be the coach!
Prop53 and Tarps03 could form a awesome front row partnership with Frontrow.
    The possibilities are boundless!

    The TWF team:

    1. Prop53
    2. Frontrow
    3. Tarps03
    4. Mick Collis
    5. Innforcer
    6. Travelling_Gerry
    7. Bacon
    8. No.8

    9. Shaun
    10. Thequeerone
    11. Shasta
    12. Lone Hydrangea
    13. Happy
    14. Jess
    15. RugbyWidow

    Quarter back LarryNJ
    Coach: Coach

You may want to pick your own TWF 22 coach!

Well done Burgs - you got me.

What really gave it away for me initially was "The Western Shakedown" and a bit of "Premier 8 Professional". When I read it a bit further, there are 8 teams but 16 rounds, which means each team would be playing themselves twice.

But also knowing its April 1 had me on the lookout for silly stories.

I'll take that b&b, it was around 5am when I finished writing it
The name was a last minute thing and I think the 16 was actually a typo as I spent ages double checking it!
    All good fun anyway

Good 'un Burgs. Well sussed B&B.

I shouldn't have fallen for it. I'd already seen the "Free Toilet Based Broadband" offer on Google.

    But I did

I also got Sparko a beaut yesterday morning. I called him and asked if he had seen The Sunday Times or been online. He said no which is when I broke the news to him that Dan Carter had been busted for amphetemines and they were about to name 5 other Crusdaers. I dragged it out a while before asking him if he knew what the date was. Later in the afternoon when I saw he told me it just about caused the big fella heart failure ashe saw the 2007 RWC getting out of reach.

    Good one Burgs.

    Nice work TIF
Was really hard trying to thing of something that I could write and not get sued, with all the drugs in sport stuff going on I felt it would be a bit too dangerous something like your one.
Poor old Sparko, lucky he didn't belt you one later on

Will we still have ten Premier teams?
Will there be more or less than that?
Will some of the central Clubs need to decentralise or will the WA Rugby heartland shrink?
Any thoughts from our senior Clubmen on the above points?
Jazza has gone for there being at least 15 Premier teams in 15 years time, anyone else in the loop wanting to comment?
How is the growth in Senior players going, could we actually sustain a more elite competition?

I don't think he was far off, but he has been in conditioning for the last 7 weeks, so he isn't in his best form at the moment
