OK, the license was perhaps a little poetic. But there were others feeling a bit unloved, Vedelago for instance. It'll be interesting to see what Ioane does tomorrow - I can't see the Waratahs being too appealing with a find in Turner and more leaguies coming across, so a return to the Reds would appear to be his primary option.

I still think that a focus on the rugby rather than Rugby politics will be required before things improve. They've certainly blooded some interesting prospects through this years horror run and that has to bode well if they can retain and develop them.

It's a shame that Eddie has managed to get himself into the media with all of his gobbyness. I realise that there is a lot of politics going on but with his experience and great talent as a coach I would have thought he could have risen above it. Time to get on with the job Eddie and ignore the BS.

Utter rubbish - he is a quality coach who is approached regularly to work overseas. He wants to work with the Reds because he sees the exciting young local talent coming through. He wants to build the platform for a dominant province over the next 10 years.
