Interesting to note, the Force scored easily enough points to convincingly "win" every other match!
In fact it is the second highest total for the Force, following the 38 points at Home against the Reds this year, and the highest Away total in front of the 34 point draw to the Lions last year.
The highest Force Away winning total being 30 against the Bulls this season.

I still have this feeling in my water that our fate awaits us against the Blues with the result of that game meaning we scrape into the finals or finish as low as 7th or 8th.

i was looking at the fixtures and the other teams fighting for 4th place have a hard draw for the last 3 rounds. every team has to play crusaders or blues.

    brumbies: Force (h), Crusaders (h), Highlanders (a)
    Cheifs: Sharks (h), Waratahs (a), Crusaders (h)
    Bulls: Lions (a), Blues (h), Reds (h)
    Force: Brumbies (a), Cheetahs (h), Blues (h)

Shows how important this weekend is for both the Force and Brumbies.
You would have to back the Bulls from there I would think?

yea i think its gonna come down to force and bulls but i think force are going to need at least 2 bonus point wins, 3 wins would get them there

I did a rough calculation, I can't see how anyone can get fourth with fewer than 35 points. that means we (on 26) need to win twice with one bonus point and noother upsets, It has slipped from a good chance to a mathematical possibility I think we need to at least draw against the Blues to have much hope, as well as getting a bonus point or two along the way!

It's gunna be tough, but on the bright side, the Brumbies have a tougher draw than us, we may as well beat them as the first step, that and a bonus point against the cheetahs should put us in control of our destiny against the Blues.

Like the Australian Teams strong finish Gerry
    Can't see that happening though

How much are the following going to come back and haunt us?

Round 1, Force v Highlanders: 7-8 (Missed 3 competition points)

Round 4, Force v Lions: 24-25 (Missed 3 competition points)

Round 5, Force v Waratahs: 16-16 (Missed 2 competition points)

That's 8 points that will make or break our season for the sake of five (2, 2 & 1) points scored on the field...

For those who may have tried to supress the meory or it has hidden behind a haze of time and partying:

Round 1: Highlanders kicked a Penalty but missed a Conversion, Force kicked a Conversion but missed a Penalty, equal on tries.

Round 4: Force score two tries to one but let the match slip with a Penalty to the Lions with minutes remaining.

Round 5: Possibly a get out of jail Comp point for the Force, but with two tries to one either Conversion miss would have got us the four over the Waratahs.

You have to take the good with the bad though Burgs.

Force v Bulls, Bulls had a late penalty and chose to go for win instead of tie, they would have easily drawn and that was a lucky escpape

Force v Tahs, as stated, slim chance it might have gone differently.

Force v Canes, game could have easily gone either way.

Another classic from Mums book of stupid annoying sayings...

I'm not saying ifs and buts, I am stating how important those close ones are going to be in the final wash up of the season.
For the record, I only "Harry Hindsight" scorelines with conversions and the final scoring event if it is within a couple of minutes of full time.
Missed tries and Penalty/Drop Goals would mean changing the entire match as it includes a different restart etc.
