    Useful Information

Am going around in circles trying to finalise arrangements and thought it would be useful to start a thread so that people could share info on what they found useful and what they didn't - am very willing to learn from you

My only advice would be don't get your wife up the duff prior to the RWC cause it could mean the end of your dream trip......

With accomodation it's wise if you are doing your own online booking to check the hotel etc out on Tripadvisor. They have honest, sometimes brutal, travellers' reviews on most properties. If you check it out first you will know exactly what to expect and won't be suprised or disappointed.

Subject to doing your homework first, I can say that I have had very good experiences over dozens of such bookings. I have also found that on line is usually much cheaper than any other means, especially travel agents.

You can easily google tripadvisor by typing tripadvisor hotel reviews and then the town and country

    I concur
We have decided to stay 9 nights in lyon.Have booked online through Hotels.com an appartment(2 star).Pretty basic, but at $90 Australian per night works out far cheaper than a hotel, most of which have really ramped up their rates for the world cup period. As long as it has a bed, bathroom & FRIDGE we will be satisfied for that price.

Are you prepared to sell tickets for each game separately? I'm interested in the tickets for Wallabies Fiji game Montpellier if you are.

Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

Iwas working on the assumption that if he was legit he'd be on line and would answer my post one way or the other if the tickets were still available...

Still trying to get my head around "face value" Euro 450 when original green issue tickets were Euro 19 each for 3 games and Euro 53 for the other. Multiply total X 2 = Euro 220. Must be something to do with "booking fee" or something else...
