World Cup Shirts

Have a look at the Wallabies website to see the new shirts. Like the cricket team sticking to 'the baggy green' instead of baseball caps the Wallabies have proudly until now stuck to 'real' rugby shirts. Not any more. The new shirts are trendy crap which look like a yellow version of Batman's outfit but with an effeminate collar. About as macho as the Western Force team song.

OK, OK, I have just been told that you guys discussed all this a couple of weeks ago. I must visit the site more often!!!

They would have made more $$$$ if they left it gold with green sleeves, with IRB logo and world cup logo only, a lot of purist fans would prefer that i believe (IMHO), and none of this skin tight crap, we are supporters not bloody players so we don't need streamlining, some of us just are not made for that type of jersey...

I must admit it is a very nice touch having our two winning world cup years on the sleeve. A subtle reminder to the opposition!

Don't fear big fella, they are also doing them in 60/40 cotton (old style material) anly in the new design, and yes they do come in SM (Small Marquee )

I like the touch of previous RWC wins to remind the opposition! I, however, will not be buying one as it's not in the right shade of blue for me!!!
