Canada - World Cup Squad

As the official 'The Whole Force' correspondent for Canada's rugby world cup campaign I thought my first post might as well be the announcement of the team.

One change since the announcement of this squad is Nanyak Dala is out and 57 cap holder Rod Snow has been promoted to the squad. This team is only preliminary and they still have to drop two players to get down to the required 30 man team. If Snow makes it he will be playing in his 4th World Cup.

Other name of note is Casey Dunning has made the reserve squad. He is the brother of Matt Dunning. Would be nice for him to get in to the team and line up against Matt when the Canadians line up against the Wallabies in France.

I would say a RWC record could have been set in pool matches this year if the Dunnings (Aust/Can) and the Cockbains (Aus/Wal) both met in pool matches.

Well he played over in England with Pertemps Bees so he's gotta be alright. Recently broke his ankle and just came back a few months ago so that might be why he is left out of the main squad.
