Well hellooooo.. been a few days since the last update, and been a few pints since it as well .. I have to admit up front \I;m rather drunk right now but i\@ll perservere as best I can .. umm the pub tally is going to have to go on hold as the list (and i am keeping it well upytodate\) is upstairs and i'll be fuked if i'm going to get it .. but none the less i digress.. been thru buckingpig palace and i'll admit it was pretty interestying, done Bath |(stupid roman hot watrer spring\() abd stonehenge, that was pretty awesome, was lookning forward to that one.

guinness gets much better the closer you get to the arctic circle .. or ireland but lets face it there isn't much difference

weather has been awesome, 28+ days and rain has been long way away.

saw a few things, one item of intereest was a spit in the last century which was over a fireplace and operated by a little dog who ran in a wheel with coals behind his feet to keep him going. about time those ****ing little chiwawa dogs pulled their own weight.

i saw the abbey where harry pottoer foudn out he wasn't a fag but indeed a wizard

met up with a few kiwi's .. none of them like the allblacks which means i liked them

currently trying to explain cricket to a canadian which is proving remarkably dificult

as i said, i'm drunk so excuse the odd mistake i'dve made .. but I'm blaming the keyboard.. wouldn't want to see a UV light over it.

Absolutely - there's a city full of festival madness; about a zillion tourists; and more bars, cafes and beer-gardens than you can shake a stick at. Including one in an purple upside-down cow-shaped tent. Really.
First stop will have to be the Grassmarket though - in order to watch Scotland v Ireland. And maybe we'll stop off at the Oz bar for a laugh - just in case the guys are homesick!

Good thinking TIF, but unfortunately (for you) The Grassmarket has a much more historical significance. It is right next door to The Lawnmarket & just down the road from The Cowgate.
