$5.00 doesn't sound like a special. Look at Tuesday's in this Pa. bar.

Forget about Guinness, Jedi, you have the power within you to reduce the price of quality wine to a respectable $2. a bottle (at least for your mates at TWF).

    Use the power.

Here's the deal Jedi; you keep me in an endless supply of $2.bottles of quality wine, and I'll give you $2 per hour representation on your next indecent exposure/sex crime/drunk and disorderly charges. OK?

Bugger,on reflection, you'll do better out of this bargain...

Pints are $5 at a few places here. Cheapest pints (TIF will appreciate this I'm sure), Campbelltown Catholic Club, non member price is $3.50 for a pint of Guinness.

Does that mean that the 'member' price is cheaper than the $3.50 charged for non-members? What does one have to do to become a member (apart from being a Catholic in Campbelltown?!

It’s simple to join and the rewards are huge.

To become a member you’ll need to complete a Membership application form. These are available at the Club or download now. There is one form for Catholic membership and another for Social membership. Once you have the appropriate form you will need to fill in your details and have an existing member propose and second your application. We have over 50,000 members so you are bound to know two, ask around, your neighbour may even be one.

    How much does it cost?
    1 Year - $ 8
    3 Years - $20
    5 Years - $30
    10 Years - $50

How do I lodge my application?
Once you have completed your form you will need to come into the Club to lodge your application. You will need to bring photo identification (a current drivers license, Passport or R.T.A card). The receptionist will issue you with a photo ID membership card on the spot.

    Other Commonly Asked Questions

Do I need to be Catholic to join?
No. You do not need to be a Catholic to become a member. The Clubs social and recreational facilities are open to all members.

Why is it call a Catholic Club?
The Club was founded in 1968 by a group of Catholic men with the objective of supporting Catholic Education, Sport and Culture in the local area, whilst also being mindful of the community needs of the Macarthur area. The Club continues to maintain this charter today and has donated over $12 million to the Macarthur Community.

I was a member many years ago, in fact if you live within 5 or 10 ks of the club you have to member to go in. You can only be signed in by a member if you live outside the area.

It is an amazing club and they have also just opened a 4 1/2 star Rydges Hotel as part of the "Catho". That's about 4 stars too many for Campbelltown!!

    Yeah??

Maybe I'll just have to go over and check that out. Might even watch The Spirit while I'm at it

Now I've read the thread a bit more fully and seen the location of said cheapo Guiness, I think I'll just try my luck at Central Coast Leaguies.
