    Commentators

Where did they get that crew of commentators!? The only one that seems to have any idea about the game is the jock but even he is still dull as bat shit. For about 90% of games they talk about complete rubbish that has little or nothing to do with what is going on in front of their faces. The guy who is responsible for the running commentory is always one or two passes behind and frequently wrong. And as for their guy on the field I have a 15 year old nephew who could do better than him.....there is bat shit that thinks he's dull.......his questions to the captains at the end of the matches are embarrasing and as for his bench updates, well I 'll just say that he makes the rest of the team seem professional! Come on this the world cup!

I actual watch the game with the volume relatively low(due to other people asleep in the house), and find i can barely hear the commentators over the crowd noise, i find that the best, as i run a mental commentary in my head anyways....(along with all the other voices in my head....)

The volume for the ch10 comm team this morning was quite low anyway, which was a relief. Surprisingly only Tuney is the entertaining one. Rupert is , how you say, shitza.

I gave up on the commentary team when the CH10 audio and video seem to be out of synch. Need to Fast Forward through all their waffle and just watch the games unfold.

i'm the same as FR i watch the games with the volume low beacaue everytone else in the house is asleep, that or I go out and watch the game (well the wallabies games) and it's fairly noisy there and i still cant hear it. I might add there was a good atmosphere on saturday night at Champions sports bar out at Burswood, lots of aussie fans with a good mix of Welsh fans, made for a good night

I'm not sure who Foxtel are buying their coverage from but I've started to wonder if they are even at the ground. The same lot seem to be covering games that are well apart geographically.

They were woeful for Tonga v Samoa last night. I was left wondering whether they were even watching the same match.

I though it was an enthralling encounter. Both teams would have given themselves a chance of getting over England and progressing to the quarters after a win and they played like it. The commentators spent most of the match lamenting the fact that they were not playing their "typical" style. Dunno whether they expected a Baa-Baas or Sevens type score-a-thon or what but they didn't capture any sense of the drama that was unfolding until the match was almost over.

They were only outdone by Bryce Lawrence's pathetic first report of the Tongan flanker for an elbow resulting in a sending off after a second "offense". Not sure of the second one as replays were inconclusive. I'm evern more convinced a need for referral to the TMO before send-offs after that one.
