A link from a Sport Blog in South Africa.
Tony has posted here before and has this to say about us.
The Western Force Supporters Site
This is arguably one of the best rugby supporters website you will come across and knocks spots off any available in South Africa and sets a new bench mark for Supporters Clubs to emulate. It might be a little iintimidating - but explore and click through and marvel at the knowledge of these supporters.
CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!
I guess there is 2 things to say - well done coach.
and we need to work on our intimidation, find out where it is, and find away to remove it.

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
Who here didnt know this already! Great job all round

it is the courage to continue that counts.

let's ask Tony but I suspect that many of us have more knowledge now then when we started - it sort of goes in by osmosis maybe that could be part of it - mind you maybe we should encourage newbies to look at VCash Balances to find out how much we really know ! accept TG and TLH who understand us all to well
If anyone knows Tony then maybe we can find out more.
Coach your're an international legend now - and we thought Burgs was our international ambassador.
61 years between Grand SlamsWas the wait worth it - Ya betta baby
I'm going to allow myself a small, celebratory woo-hoo.
Also, anybody who hasn't caught up with us IRL should do so. we're a whole lot less intimidating once we've had a beverage with you!....except maybe Mrs Jargs!
C'mon the![]()

I'll bet she's barely started on you GIGS. Word of warning- if Mrs Jargs is around- HIDE YOUR PHONE!
FWIW I don't think the 'intimidation' goes beyond the fact there is some fairly robust discussion across alot issues (and more so if all you can say is "Firepower, RAH!), a few inside jokes (that newbies are welcome to become part of) and general agreement that Tahs supporters are short a few neurons and/or devil spawn
Well Done Coach et al- a well-deserved![]()

BOKKE“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White
congratulations coach.
i think a big factor in a new member being intimidated is the fact that we are all pretty good friends. and perhaps we give off a 'clique' vibe.
new members could feel intimidated in joining up because they are afriaid of being shunned by the entire group.
we have had a few members join up and offend one of the 'regulars' and then their mates jump on board to defend them. and the sad thing is that i'm not so sure that we are going to be able to get rid of that first impression. i mean if we all hated each other the intimidation vibe would be completley different.
