Who shrugged his shoulders, the streaker or the owner of the name?
At the Dogs Kennel we know who the streaker was. The same guy who was flashing around the ground at Cott earlier this year.
We don't condone it but it was a bit of fun I guess.
Yes the atmosphere was great, perhaps that was because the clubs there were two of the best supported in the comp and are all pretty good mates unlike the so called Big 5 - or is it the Big 4 these days Fulvio!
The point I'm making is that RugbyWA is there for the players and supporters. Regardless of whether it was the last game paying supporters should have been treated properly.
On the basis that it is nice when it happens to someone else? Some of the Roo boys near us were...let's say...robust in their opinions (unless it was you guys getting ripped in?), but all part of a lively crowd and match. Great day all round and a size of crowd that is hopefully a sign of things to come.
Agreed.
But my point about RugbyWA still stands
Kala 1st and 2nd grade premiers and minor premiers.
KALA HARD
well done kala!
BOKKE“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White
I don't know what Baysie were drinking out of the 1st grade cup last year but by the look of the stains on the cup it was engine oil.
Fulvio (Frank. Yes we know who you are!) If it was one of yours we woudn't have seen anything anyway would we!
One of your mates (Billy Watt) keeps popping up in the highlights of the game by the way. Where were you? Obviously not at the bar because it had run out of beer!
Paul, I wasn't aware I was hiding.
Good luck to Kala on a well deserved win. You were clearly the best side on the day, as you were all year.
The good thing about sport is that you get to relive your successes and disappointments each year. A kind of ground hog's day, but with an ever changing ending.
See you next ground hog's day.
Congratulations firstly to the Bulls and also to the Dogs for getting there good to see the eastern suburbs given it to the westies!!
and on another note a Big Congratulations to Albany Lions for taking out the Great Southern final on Saturday the small margin was a real indicator of the games intensity and its always a pleasure to play against my own home town.
