    Congratulations Kalamunda

Although a supporter of a side not contesting the grand final I was thrilled the Bulls won today. They have set the pace all year and are worthy premiers. Congratulations. The sea of black and red supporters at Rugby park was a great send off for the facility and can only be good for club rugby in WA. To the Wanneroo supporters keep faith you can be justifiably proud on a great year and look forward to the next. Now what the hell will I do with my Saturday afternoons !!

Yes congrats to both sides - pure entertainment. Never had to queue to get into RugbyPark before - the queues at the bar were unreal.

    Well done Kala

It was good to see such a nice turnout. Shame the score blew out towards the end but it was still an enjoyable game.

It was a good day of rugby and nice to catch up with some familiar faces. Congratulations to all of the teams too, and props to the impressive crowd of people that showed up - made for a great atmosphere (for everyone bar the refs). Really would love to see a match-up between a finals select team and the Force tour team added as the last hoorah for the season.

Well done Kala. Best side on the day.
Well done the Roo Dogs for a remarkable season.
I can assure you that Msr Le Frenchie was well and truly qualified for the finals. Unlike some teams the Dogs don't use "cheat sheet' team sheets.
Msr wants to come back next year too and bring some mates.
As for Perry Lakes quite frankly RugbyWA needs to take a good look at itself. A bar that runs out of beer on Grand Final Day (it also closed at 6pm last week with 100 or more people and the players wanting a drink),a public address system that doesn't work, toilets, particularly the ladies I'm told, that were a disgrace and so on.
Yes, the old stadium is going but you would have thought they could have given supporters at a GF something better.

paul - that was the last ever grand final at rugbywa park - it's all going to get knocked down - rumour has it June 2009.

Been to a few grand finals and I can assure you I have never seen half the crowd at any GF that was there yesterday - both Kala and the Roo dogs had awesome supporters (and quite a few people just there to see a good game) - fantastic to see.

The crowd I was with immediately shouted out a name - only to turn around and see him shrug his shoulders

Last ever senior grand final - the WAJRU semis start this weekend and their grand finals will be the last ever

I too thought the atmosphere was great, and it seemed the refs I was with throughout the day thought so too
