SATURDAY night's game against the Waratahs will be massive, specially for those of us who left Sydney to come to the Force, writes Cameron Shepherd.

If there's any team you like to beat it's the Waratahs and the guys are pumped.

They are certainly passionate about their rugby in Sydney.

The Waratahs haven't been performing that well this year, but they put the tries together against the Blues and that always makes you feel better

It brings an excitement and motivation back to your game and they will be on a high - but so are we.

The hype will be building for this game in the next few days and it will be great to have the Sea of Blue behind us.

We have targeted this as a game we want.

There's a certain way that we want to play. We are fitter than most sides and we know we can play this game the way we want.

We've put together a few average performances as well as playing some good football this season. I reckon it's time for another big one.

We need this win to cement our spot in the top four.

I know I've not been at my best and it's been frustrating. All I want to do is turn up fresh and put in a good game.

Also, my parents are coming over for the weekend and it would be good to put on a show for them at my home ground.

Gitty (Matt Giteau) will be kicking again this week. He gave me the job last week and I didn't exactly perform.

It wasn't a good night for me so I'm giving the job back to him and I'll maybe just take the long ones

Sea of blue - wonder if he has been logging on as well.

Hope he gets his kicking confidence back -remember chanting "Bring on Sheps" at the RWC game against Canada - Huxley was having a shocker - Sheps came on and produced the goods. It's a really good bow to have in his arsenal for Wallaby Stuff and us Force Nuts as well - and I also wonder if we rely to much on Gitts - he's been targeted successfully in the last few games

True, I have noticed after taking a big knock he can be very quiet indeed...to the point where I wouldn't hesitate to think maybe a subbing off would have been in order....

the picture with this article is of the blue crew with the headline "the sea of blue is much appreciated by the players"
i wish that people who take photos will realise that people actually purchase memberships which are quite expensive, i wish they would take a picture of the actual sea of blue, like the WHOLE stadium, not just a few people in the blue crew area

Rest assured if Cam's parents come over I won't let them out of my sight. We met his mum in Sydney at the Force vs Tahs game last year. Very lovely and very much the character!

This is the media we are talking about, they often work in absolutes, if they want to put across a point eg. Sea of Blue, I doubt that will do it without literally showing supporters covered in blue....'just about all blue' won't cut it...plus the Force put forward the 'Blue Crew' as a media venture first and foremost, I mean, they are giving it to freeloaders to make it look like there is one section of fanatical supporters, why wouldn't they draw attention to it? There would be no other reason to give away free seats.
