if i may have your attention please. Whilst we are yet the finalise a handover date for our petition we do have a draft date which may not be for a few more weeks.

We now have another opportunity to collect more signatures and push on towards our target of 10,000 signatures tomorow night as the Perth Glory take on the WA State side in another pre-season hit out.

I know that football may not be the most popular sport around these parts but we need to look at the bigger picture, and that is getting to as close to the 10,000 mark as possible. It won't be a huge crowd but if we could get 2 or 3 volunteers it would be great.

For those who came in late:

I'm pretty sure this is the old cycling velodrome, just near Britannia (where the juniors play their rugby). Very easy to find. Parking for literally dozens of cars in the Britannia car park.

Oh, and sorry, I can't be there myself to either watch or get autographs...

I believe the Palmyra club Board is considering using the rental fees to set up an Academy of Excellence for rugby union referees next year...
