I miss my old dog Billy. Poor ol bugger got cancer and we had to put him down 10 years ago. Nicest dog you'd ever meet.

My dog did that too... funnily enough the other dog was petrified of water, if there was a hose on she'd be at the other end of the yard. Wouldn't be surprised if it stemmed from the time they were swimming in a creek (in her case, very tentatively) and the big boofhead jumped straight on top of her and sent her under.
Nice onomatopoeia too- wouldn't have known how to try spelling that noise, but I reckon that's pretty close.
