Sorry to do this to you all - Had another crazy idea
In the fine tradition of the Australian Public putting up banners renaming a section of the Grand Stand after their hero Doug Walters during the Fourth Test 1974-5 Ashes Tour in Sydney.
I think we should find an area of nib Stadium to call it The Nathan Sharpe Stand. With the ongoing development of nib and the pending retirement of Sharpie - I think the timing is perfect.
Perhaps at the same time we write some letters to the appropriate people to make sure that when the new stand is built - Sharpies Stand gets the appropriate official recognition he (and we) so rightfully deserve.

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
Sharpie's Shed? It would be quaint once it's no longer the standing room bogan Chiefs supporter area.

“Everyone knows whether it’s rugby, politics or whatever, front-rowers should rule the world, so to have a hooker at the helm makes sense,” Nathan Charles Western Force & Wallabies Hooker.
no Shasta, thats Mean bro... ive got me chelly bin with jandles supporting any team dats across the DUTCH, as Im only a Kiwi who desnt kno anyfing apart from a team wearing Black.

The Kiwis around me were pretty pretty happy cheering for 'Sunny Bull' even when he was nowhere near the ball, that was of course after they realised Dan Carter and Richie McCaw weren't playing...
Oh and I agree we need a 'sharpe' end, or stand, or area... Is it too late to resurrect 'Sharpies Bar' from the Old Subiaco days? I quite enjoyed having a beer after (and before!) the game and listening to the awkward post match interviews, players shotgunning cans of beer and spirits and everyone singing the team song...!

I'm with Darth, it needs to be a very big temporary sign for the rugby, hung right across the shed, giving the commentators the ability to call the ball up the "Sharpe end"
