90.5 Bulls -v- Force coverage 3am

Hi all,

This week's game is a real test of stamina, so for those who are still awake at 3am this is what we'll have.

Once again Nick Taylor of the Sunday Times will speak to us live from the stadium. He's spent the week with the Force so will update us with the mood in the camp, pitch conditions e.t.c.

Brendan Cannon celebrates his 100th "Super" match. We'll be chatting to him about the landmark and about the forward battle we're expecting against the Bulls plus finding out what his plans are for the future.

Match coverage again comes from SABC. This is the last time we'll need to take a "host" feed as all other games will have exclusive 90.5 commentary from the ground.

Its at this point the value of our coverage will start to kick-in. The station is still looking for a scoreboard sponsor for the coverage. This sponsorship offeres tremendous value to a sponsor seeing the amount of times a scoreboard gets mentioned. I can't quite get my head around the idea of breakfast at 5am, though I know there some who've witnessed that time of day!

Seeing that Adam's a growing boy I'll let him get to bed as soon as the game finishes, but Leon, Adam and I would love to hear from you after the Lions game next week, even if you're calling from the bar.

Just to update you.

In addition to the Cannon and Taylor interviews we've also done one with John Welborn on his views about the season so far.

Whilst I wouldn't want to discourage you from listening live, i'll try and get the audio of both the Welborn and Cannon Interviews on the site sometime over the weekend.

Please remember when listening that they were done pre-game because by the time they're posted we'll know the result of the Bulls game.

Managed to get coverage here in Joondalup at 3.00am...sounded good....and I used the ultimate male power thing...the remote control ...to flick between commentarys during the game.....look forward to the local team calling again....

Sorry David....I missed the commentary......something to do with a very long day on Friday (lunch became afternoon drinks which then became dinner (I think) which then bacame post-dinner drinks!). Thanks also for the confirmation that we can be heard in Joondalup, not that we ever doubted it - we know we can be heard from Quinns Rocks to Mandurah which I think most people would agree pretty much covers the Metro area.

We can't wait for Saturday and the Lions game - we'll be on air 6.30 with a full preview.
